In the year 2018, Mahalaxmi group acquired Wellman Coke India Limited and rechristened it as Mahalaxmi Wellman Fuel LLP, and restarted the production in the plant.

With a waste-heat recovery based eco-friendly plant in Cuttack, Odisha, we produce prime quality low ash met coke of all grades with a specialized foundry-blast furnace producing nut coke, pearl coke, and breeze coke to serve the individualized requirements of the customers. We have an extensively established global trade, having office networks across the country adding upon overseas establishment in U.S.A., Dubai, and Singapore. The plant is one of India’s leading non-captive manufacturers of low ash metallurgical coke. Our coke oven plants are equipped with modern and eco-friendly technological set up to produce low ash Met Coke using the finest imported coking coal through the Non-Recovery process attained through the stamp charging technique.
